Pelegong Outing

Hey peeps,
Had lots of fun being out with friends from the trip. We arranged to meet for another gathering today, having not had one since last September. Unable to come out with any due to different time slots of each individual, besides most of us were busy.
Dolly being the organizer informed everyone about today's outing and to my surprise the response was quite good, with eight people able to make it, half of the usual 17, in which I expected lesser earlier.
Left house pretty much early in the day, accompanied my sister to town to get her wallet and Havana. The journey everywhere was long; thankfully I had a book with me.
It was about 5 before I headed down to cityhall to meet up with the rest.
Agreed to have our dinner at Marina's Pizza Hut, we headed there on foot. Initial idea was movies, but had to call if off with everyone almost broke. Speaking about movies, cinemas, it has been some time since I lasted watched one, perhaps five or six months ago which don't include the one I watched the other day with my church class. A place filled with sweet memories, loving scenes and of course those comfortable seats seem so unfamiliar nowadays. Well, brush that though aside before I gets too emo about it and loses attention on the show, which was what I did the last time.
Back to dinner, it seems a little costly. But then again it proves that the food was worth every penny. Ordering what we want proved to be a challenging task as we kept pointing fingers as to who should order and then making fun of that person. Our dear Edward taking the orders was growing purple in the face trying to control his urge to burst out laughing, and we can't blame him.
Food came relatively quickly, especially the ladies. They were down to half their 2nd pizza while we were still waiting for ours to be served.
It was a real balancing act trying to juggle between eating with the mouth closed and not throwing up into fits of laughter with food in our mouths for the girls. Jermaine jokes ensured that they didn't finish their last pizza before ours arrived as it brought us much entertainment that we were never bored while waiting to be served. Noise level grew and certainly caught everyone attention and dismay I guessed. It died off only after us leaving that place. Anyway, I shall say the food was fantastic and we ate a lot.
Photo taking was merely what we did after that hearty meal. Strolled over to the Singapore Durian (as it is affectionately called) to take pictures of the Singapore Flier.(The government calls it a rotational observation platform but we all know that it's just a HUGE Ferris wheel. The men and women in white really want to look and sound classy to the point of stupidity.) we saw lots of couples on the roof Terrence (you see what I mean? CLASS.) and tried our very best not to see them eating at their partners faces and focused on being 'tourists'. The cameras were whipped out from our bags and we were snapping away.
Merlion Park was our next stop, carry ourselves along as we took a relatively slow walk there. We were rewarded with pictures taken with the baby merlion, great! And that practically sums up the day as we parted with handshakes and goodbyes and a promise to meet up again soon. So glad that I never miss out on such a fun night.
Guessed this post would be the last before I returned from my Malaysia on Sunday. Byebye! Will miss you dearly...
